ABOUT
A destination wedding at Palácio de Estoi, where 19th-century azulejos and ochre facades set the stage for something far less formal than the architecture suggests. Nina and Quin chose a civil ceremony on the palace's tiled staircase, guests seated in the open air, no priest, no script, just the two of them and a view over the Algarve hills.
The morning started loose. Bridesmaids in black robes, champagne before the dress went on, Nina laughing through her hair and makeup with the kind of energy that doesn't fade for a camera. Quin broke from tradition in a white dinner jacket instead of black, sharp against the palace's pink stone and blue tilework.
The ceremony itself was brief and unguarded, vows exchanged on the steps, confetti and shouting the second it ended. Dinner ran long under string lights, toasts turned into speeches turned into a dance floor with a live saxophonist by the time the sun was gone. Nothing about the night was staged. It didn't need to be.
What stayed in the frames: the quiet seconds before the ceremony, gold light hitting the palace facade at golden hour, and a dance floor that never really stopped.
